Nursery is based in The Pod. It is a new modular build with beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The Pod has a small kitchen, toilets, and a changing facility. The children access the outdoor garden throughout the day and have weekly visits to our sensory garden and forest area. The easy access to the school grounds enables the nursery children to have a large space to run, feel free and connect with nature.
Inside our setting, we have developed a peaceful and calming environment with wooden and natural materials and resources. We have replaced many of our bright colours with neutral tones to support children’s focus and attention. The décor has positively impacted progress and attainment and children appear calmer and more focused during play.
