WW1 History Week
We have some spectacular displays around school as part of our WW1 History Week.
Some fantastic learning has been taking place across the whole school and the children have been engaged in activities such as signalling across the trenches, playing football in 'no man's land', making corned beef ash and writing letters home from the trenches.
Children have been invited to dress up on Friday 9th November in old or new military clothing or to wear something red to symbolise Remembrance Day.
Jill, our school cook is baking some delicious cup cakes which will be on sale after school tomorrow for a donation towards supporting armed forces and mental charities.
UPDATE: £120 was raised from the selling the cup cakes!
