Children displaying Coronavirus Symptoms
Dear Parents and Carers,
The following link will give you more information about the coronavirus.
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
Stay at home if you have coronavirus symptoms
Stay at home for 7 days if you have either:
- a high temperature – you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
- a new, continuous cough – this means you've started coughing repeatedly
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying at home.
Guidance from NHS/UK
Please make sure you keep your child at home if they have the symptoms above. Do not bring them onto the school premises even if you are picking up siblings. Ring the school office and inform us about the absence.
Any children displaying the symptoms will be sent home and we will expect the children to be isolated for seven days. We appreciate this may cause issues with parents attending work; however, we have a duty of care to keep all children and staff safe. This will also ensure we can stay open as long as possible. Thank you for your help.
