Hello Children, Parents and Carers,

My name is Mrs Beevers and I will be here to communicate with you during your stay at home. I will update our nursery class page, share fun activities on Facebook and communicate through the nursery email.
I hope you are all enjoying time with your families and that you are all well. I have added some lovely scavenger hunts, just below, for you to have a go at.
Have fun!

Mrs Beevers

Preparing your child to write

Scavenger Hunts

In the event of school closure, I have prepared two accounts for online resources for your child -details of which will be sent home this week. You will receive two passwords - one for Teaching Your Monster to Read (most children have looked at this in class) and another for NumberBots (some of which is a little challenging).

I can monitor these accounts too which is great as I can see what your child has been up to and enjoyed.

I have also included some Muddy Puddles activities below which can be done in your gardens (obviously need to be mindful of any restrictions put in place).

You can always create salt/flour pans to practice letters and number formation in a more active way.

I have also included a recipe for a very easy play dough so you can make your own dough to play with.

The children are loving CBBC NumberBlocks at the moment and a lot of our maths lessons are linked to the principles shown in different episodes.

Also included is imagination tree link... great site for ideas and activities for Early Years and creative ideas document for maths (20days worth of maths related activities)

Muddy Puddle- outdoor learning. Obviously be mindful of any restrictions being placed but children may be able to use their gardens to enhance their learning

Maths- creative at home-20 days of activities

No Cook Play Dough recipe
